I adore Spring Waltz - Ep 12 was adorable! SW reminds me, oddly enough, of Save the Last Dance - the plots aren't similar or anything but it has the same gorgeous, tender, feel - a traditonal story done exceptionally well

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!!!! Autumn Tale cannot even compare with the wonders that Stairway possesses. It has, beyond a doubt, the craziest and evilist other girl in the history of Kdrama. And an evil stepmother!
Yeah, I have to eat my words about secondary girl. It kinda miffed me since she was such a sympathetic, almost pleasant person in the beginning -- it's like the writer realized he'd written himself in a corner by making a love square with reasonable adults, so she had to up the crazy to bring the drama.
I didn't like the last fourth of the drama as a whole, actually -- it felt weirdly disjointed and wrong.
Phillip, on the other hand, got pretty awesome. I loved the way he cut through the crap and confronted Lee Na on her bullshit. Pretty refreshing after convoluted drama characters dancing in circles about the issues.
Oh, you see, I thought Secondary Girl was crazy from beginning so I am not surpised - she has no sense of proportion about anything.
No idea what I will think about last fourth (I am only about to start ep 13) but seeing I like watching things like StH I am sure I will enjoy the emo :P
I saw the first three episodes or so of Autumn Tale and stopped because it was already too much angst, but I"ve always wanted to pick it up again so if you do let me know and I"ll join you.
also, why does the guy in Stairway to Heaven look really familiar?

My feelings are totally different about "Save the Last Dance" - for me it was probably one of the most poorly written and acted dramas. For me, everyone felt two-dimensional to a highest degree. This and the fact that it was my least favoured type of story where "everyone falls in love very quickly" put this in the list of my least favourites. I ffind it in the high speed.
I am half/tempted, half/scared about both "Autumn tale" and "Stairway". It sounds like they both end terribly tragically?
See, I love "falling in love quickly" stories the best - when then they fight the odds. Btw, Save the Last Dance holds a record for me - the fasted I have watxhed a kdrama. I have watched the first 14 eps in one go (you do not want to know how sleep-deprived I was by the end of them. I was on a 17+ hour flight). I finished the last 3 the next day :)
I saw Autumn in my Heart like two years ago and it was pretty good (bud it is very sad) just wanted to let you know that -if I remember well- they´re not step-siblings, they are not siblings at all. When she get borne at the hospital, the boy switched the babies (the girls) by accident. And I don´t remember him dying at the end either...
The music is pretty, sad, but pretty. I loved it :)
man... I don´t remember... I know she got hit by a car in front of the school when she was a kid (she was riding her bike, I think) and that´s how her parents realize she´s not their daughter, because of the blood test and stuff at the hospital, but I don´t remember him dying...
But I saw that drama like two years ago, so probably you're right :p

AT is supposed to have so much angst, which is what I am in the mood for.

in StH, the girl dies. And in AT they both die.

And how! Actually, about 90% of AT seems to be people dying.
