It's just so perfectly geeky and in character and hilariously adorable!

Btw, have you any trouble with hotlinkers recently? My bandwidth is being eaten alive and it's not rainscene -- the only other thing I can think of are my Hanadan posts -- but you'd be hit by Hanadan hotlinkers worse than I would.

I don't seem to have trouble with hotlinkers - is it with your photobucket images?

I got about halfway through this last night - the subbed bits - and IT IS TOO CUTE!

He's all - "why didn't you just tell me?" and she's too shy and doesn't want to cause trouble... *swoon*

Did you get to the bra-shopping scene?! Or (my favorite) where she makes him breakfast and he gets mad that she isn't relying on him more?! <3

The bra shopping was so LOLtastic, with his wearing a mask and making his manager actually put the items in the basket and getting distracted by fast food.

And then he stayed with her in the house because she was afraid of the dark. Awwwww. Seriously, they are the cutest OTP I've seen in ages.

The breakfast scene was adorable and his getting mad at her wanting to go back to her house full of loansharks to get her Prince Kasaba stuff was total love.

And then she's all "But if I don't have him near me, I'll lose the feelings that Prince Casaba and I share..." and he keeps calling Prince Casaba the wrong names!! Hee! I can't wait to go home and finish this... :D

She is just such a total otaku! If they hook up, he better get ready to share their bedroom with about 150 Casaba figurines and posters :D Or maybe she'll make him cosplay. LOL.

I think that guy's really cute and I'm intrigued by his "former idol" status and trying to drum up popularity again.

Oh, dangermousie, you get me to watch the strangest things...

It's very very quirky so not sure if you'll like it but I find it off-kilter adorable.

The extra amusing thing about this particular actor playing a washed out idol is that he is a member of boyband Farenheit, which is currently by far the hottest band in Taiwan and is just generally v.v. popular in Asia (when I was in Thailand last year, Farenheit-related pictures were everywhere).

But there is something intriguing about it. I like the otaku-nerd/washed up idol pairing idea. I think this in English would probably make me gag but there's still something appealing!

I like it because both the protagonists are such gigantic yet adorable dorks.

I watch a lot of drama stuff which I'd be appealled to watch in English :)

I tried watching this on streaming and the quality was so bad, I couldn't really get into it.

From the bits I did see, I liked it. The pacing is quite different from what I'm used to in a TW drama, as is the musical selection. It's nice, laid back.

I have to say, I give props to Rainie Yang. As much as I love her and think she's adorable, she hasn't really impressed me with her acting. In this role though, I think she's ACES, and is able to portray her character with the right amount of vulnerability and strength. I like that while she's shy and doesn't like attention on herself, she still knows how to stick up for herself when she needs to.

When it gets subbed and officially uploaded, I'll def grab it and watch it in HD. :)

I can't wait for it to get uploaded too, because I want shiny HD images - ep 5 on viikii is pretty good quality but it varies from ep to ep and can be spotty.

I keep liking Rainie more and more - I never got the fuss over Devil Beside You at all (it almost put me off both Rainie and Mike He for life) but I really liked her in Why Why Love and she is way better in TGH than she was in WWL.

Oh man, DBY was the first full drama I watched (my first was My Girl but I had to stop at Ep 7 or so because mysoju got wacky) so at first viewing I liked DBY.

Then after I watched a few more dramas, I decided that I did not like it and it was cliche'd and an insult to my feminine and artistic sensibilities (lol).

I'm currently doing a rewatch and I'm seeing it for what it really is. Cheesy crack. Cheesealicious crack. There's so many scenes where I'm dying of viewer/audience embarrassment but it's such crack crackity crack.

(Rainie did well on WWL also, but I am very impressed with her in this one. Oh and can I say that Jiro Wang, his body is amazing??!!? It looks small under those clothes but the first 10 minutes of the episode we got a nice shot of the chest and stomach, and I felt like a drooling fangirl even though I had no idea who he was.)

Yes, this drama is good with the fanservice.

In DBY, I basically only ended up liking the secondary otp.
