I really really thought that was a ploy on Joon Pyo's part to eat their kind of crappy food then take them out to dinner and pay for everything. I guess not?

This past weekend's been pretty bad in terms of money (my own fault for just spending and not budgeting). I've been totally eating ramen and thinking about Shancai crying into her bowl of soup in Meteor Garden, which is probably one of my favorite scenes ever. She's just so cute and sniffly.

I'm going to pretend he took them out for food. After all, he gave them household supplies! or whatever was in those boxes.

I haven't watch it yet, so I'm not going to read the spoilers, but man do I agree about Ji Hoo. He needs some happiness! Despite the Hana Yori Dango movie having a happy ending, I was all sad because poor Rui was left alone in his room at the end. He just can't catch a break! At least in the anime he got Shizuka.

Somewhere around episode 13 or so, the Yi Jung/Ga Eul OTP caught up with the JD/JP one in my mind. I am really enjoying that part of this drama. I hope they end up playing it out more, because I am totally shipping them now.

Yup, I was all bored with YJ/GE in the beginning but as soon as the angat train hit, I got on it :)

I didn't mind Rui not getting anyone as much as I would hate it with Ji Hoo because at least Rui didn't have tragic family history and phobias :)

Didn't Rui have the tragic family history as well? I'm pretty sure in all versions his family died (thus the "autism", and Shizuka's influence). They don't play it up as much in the other ones though. Undoubtably I will also be heartbroken by poor Ji Hoo's plight. He need happiness.

His family wasnever addressed in MG and jdrama and I don't think they tragically died in the manga - he was just autistic for whatever reasons...

wtf Yi Jung?! Good for Ga Eul though, she was annoying with her lack of spine previously.

I'm kind of dreading catching up with the past 5 episodes.

LOLOLOLOL...if i scroll your caps fast enough, it's like watching it anyway, saving me time and effort to track down the Yi Jung Ga Eul moments that i'm only watching BBF for anyway! i really really cannot be bothered with the Jun Pyo Jandi Ji Hoo thing anymore! I'd rather watch one my dvds of be stron geum soon and sit through all 50+ eps of it than this!

I'm tired of it all. JiHoo, Jandi, Jaekyung, Junpyo, Yijung and GaEul. I think Kim Bum needs to tone down his dramatic angst-metre; his angsting scenes make me cringe. Ga Eul grew a spine for 1 scene, still unimpressed. I won't even comment on the principals, they make me extremely angry.

At this point, I'm only in it for the ending. I must see how the writers get themselves out of this mess.
