I have seldom seen so many pissed-off people in one place as there are currently in the East of Eden soompi thread (not since Powerful Opponents days - grrrr, PO was such a perfect drama with an ending that made no sense). And I can see why! (
spoiler for the ending )

EOE's script has been a little strange since the mid 30s but how does it make sense to kill one of the long suffering characters? I suppose it's only through lack of time we don't see Grace die of cancer during childbirth.
I'm not surprised about the MH/JH thing, I'm betting they got the 'happy' ending. The writer really mangled his and Dong Wook characters in the later part of the season. Tell me Daddy Evol was sent to prison for a very long time at least.

Evil Daddy went screaming over a cliff in a car via Nurse. Yessss!
I was so addicted to the damn drama for the first 20 or so eps - could barely wait for subs. And then it all went insane. It did introduce me to the wonders of SSH's abs, for which I am enternally grateful :)

I also don't know how I feel exactly about Shin Tae Hwan's death. I think a life in prison would have been more pleasant. Or capital punishment. This man deserves no quick death. His pain should be drawn out. ARGH. But then, knowing this man, he would have somehow found a way to get out of prison and continously make lives miserable. So it's good that he dies like this. I guess...
I don't know if you watched any k-family dramas such as the daily ones. I appreciate how in this drama as well as others I have seen, different types of family are imagined where non-blood related, as well as families with more than two mothers come together. Considering how conservative Korea can be about families, I like the work that these dramas do to show the possibilities.
