OK, I am a bad person. I accept it.

But it feels kinda, ashamingly delicious.

Rememeber East of Eden, the kdrama I really liked but then got bored with because it was 50 eps and I do not have the attention span ( Read more... )

Whoa I just found something on asianfanatics.net

She posted on the show’s message board on the 22nd, “It was confusing to take on this character of Hye-rin, who even I can’t understand… As an actor in this drama, I feel a duty and responsibility to stay with it through the end. But I’m sorry to tell you I can no longer act in this situation, feeling this way.” She added, “I don’t want to act saying and doing such illogical, out-of-character things in this role that makes me look like an idiot.”

Hmm. I never watched it because I was waiting for it to finish before watching. But she is an actress I keep track of. Interesting.

I think that's a very problematic thing for her to post -- it makes her look divaish which is bad for future hires. Even if she felt this way (and for all I know she might be justified, her character is very underwritten), it's much more pragmatic to use an old excuse of failing health and bow out gracefully.

I swear I just saw the post on Dramabeans less than five minutes ago and couldn't wait to hear your reaction. I don't even watch the show and the shippers were pissing ME off.

It's gotten even crazier since -- the EoE thread on soompi is one giant flame war.

It's so freaking hilarious I could just die. Best thing to happen in Kdrama history ever.

With the latest time jump Hye-rin suddenly became the pinnacle of Korean womanhood. In a recent episode she greeted DC at her front door with a dog, proceeded to cook, wear a frilly apron and gave DC the flowers she cultivated herself. They were selling the ship so hard I can't help but giggle at the disappointed shippers on the EoE thread.

Maybe she will exit the drama in a glorious apotheosis of baking? LOL. Seriously.
