I really really love that part. I wonder what the mob boss was expecting? For him to take a knife and try to tab the mobster chasing after him?

I clearly have a thing for men who volunteer for stabbings (see also Tree of Heaven). :P

You know what's awesome? I love the OTP together, but there is no way he is a good dating choice and I am all 'run away, girl, ruuuun!'

But seriously, if they never met, she'd be a nice upperclass pianist married to some nice upper class guy, and whatever else he'd be doing, he won't be beating up mobsters and getting involved with the Triads.

I can see why he thinks he needs to do it, but of course there must be some other way out that is not so extreme...also full of murder. But the thing is, what with his (lack of) upbringing and his personality, I don't think he can think of any.

And he thinks he can keep his gf her pure innocent happy untarnished etc self by becoming a mob assassin?????? No way can she stay all that when her bf is a killer...he cannot possibly keep such a total dichotomy between his private and 'work' life (as the drama is going to show).

Oh god. I don't know if I can take it. How does his face handle all this abuse? I don't think he's gone five minutes without a beating.

I am always amazed by the fact that all the severe beatings received by drama heroes do not mar their perfect faces: no broken teeth, crooked noses etc.

And the whole STABBING HIMSELF IN THE THIGH thing doesn't seem to have slowed him down, either.

Hey, if the hero of Kingdom of the Winds can survive everything he survived with only primitive medicine, a little stab is nothing :)
