I've liked what I've seen of Tazza a lot so far (first two episodes) but have been a little too swamped with Kingdom of the Winds and East of Eden to catch up with the subbed eps 3 and 4 and to keep up with the drama as zealously as I would like but I have just got a major incentive to do so:
Incentive 1:

WTF, this hasn't been fully subbed? It must suck hardcore or something, because you'd think everybody would want to see two such popular actors .. in a drama with spies and making out. C'mon!
I went to check out what JavaBeans thinks and okay, it sounds like a pretty predictable ordeal: http://www.dramabeans.com/tag/when-night-comes/
But crappier dramas have gotten subs faster so yeah, weird.

I doubt it was the best drama ever, but it sounds like it would be breezy, bubble-gum fun. I know alexandral liked it. (Javabeans and me share almost no drama tastes in common, LOL. Even when we like the same drama, it's usually to a very different degree and with different character takes. She isn't much into period epics and that's about my favorite genre. I was shocked to discover she likes Kingdom of the Winds, totally shocked!)

I tend to like reading Javabeans, mostly because of how she writes, not necessarily how she feels about dramas. For example she dismissed Capital Scandal based on slapsticky comedy which I find ludicrous as the drama has so many layers beyond the occasional over-the-top comedy scene. It's weird how I keep returning to her blog, though. It's a good news source on occasion, though.

She also doesn't like East of Eden and I am mad about that drama :)
I think (from reading her blog) the dramas that most appeal to here are modern romantic comedies, not too OTT in humor or with too much emo, about working-world female protagonists. And while I don't mind those, with very very few exceptions (My Girl), this is not my favorite genre in kdramas.
I didn't like SamSoon's character, nothing to do with the poor actress, so I don't mind giving her a chance :)

Mmmm...Jang Hyuk. He is one of the sexiest Korean actors out there!

Sometimes I wonder whether it'd be as fun to watch these dramas if I had unlimited access to everything, subbed and ready. I suspect it wouldn't be as fulfilling without the Engrish subs every now and then and the angsting over "NEW EP, NO SUBS, HALP, WHAT DO I DO?!"-parts. XD
He's my weirdest kdrama crush. And possibly my favourite. I hunted down his entire filmography; Public Toilet, Jungle Juice and all. He has become some kind of Salman to me, where I can take a little bit of overacting because I feel like I can connect with his inner geeky self... Yeah, weird. And I don't think I can thank his pilates instructor wife and the Korean Army enough.
Have a nice flight!

OMG, that is like the oddest yet most fitting comparison! (Speaking of Salman, I wonder if Hello is supposed to be any good).

LOL. He really is one of the most cut kdrama actors out there. Mmmm, Korean Army.
I think I also like him because in all the three dramas I've seen him in so far (Thank You, Robbers and Tazza) he plays these sort of bastards, not idealized dream men, but bastards I totally love.
timescout made a tons of Thank You icons in her LJ :)
