I haven't been following the series itself, but based on your screencaps, I will be absolutely heartbroken if any of these characters don't make it out of the series alive.

As for the hairwashing: oh, *yes.*

Never fear, except for the elderly grandpa, they all make out alive (and even though I like grandpa, he is ancient and lived a full life so...) There was no way I could sign up for such a rollercoaster if I didn't know it would end happily.

And the hairwashing made me die. Especially how happy he looks to be doing it, like it's the most amazing privilege ever, and how she never ever finds out it was him.
