Been finally catching up a bit on Battlestar Galactica.

I think everyone was spoiled for Cally - they showed what happened in the promo, the idiots. But still, that was horrid. And I really didn't like what they did with Tory there. It's like they went all out to make her 100% evil (which coincided with sexualizing her to a Six-like degree) and I'm not sure whether or not that will ultimately hold up. They could have had her kill Cally out of self-preservation, and that would have been dark enough without adding the sense that she took pleasure in it, and don't get me started on her hitting on Galen beforehand.

I was NOT happy with Kara either, and it takes a lot to get me angry at her. But I felt better after reading Mark Verheiden's thoughts on the scene. She does get better starting in Road Less Traveled, and there's some really good stuff with Sam there too.

Yeah, I'm also somewhat ambivalent about Lee these days, which is sad. He was never my favorite character, but I was very interested in him the first three seasons. Still trying to put my thoughts together about him in the last ( ... )

Tori always struck me as someone with poor impulse control, so I think he decision to space Cally was part that. I never had a handle on her (Tori) as a character though so...

I am glad it gets better with Kara. I liked her all through S3, but the new and resurrected Kara isn't really the same deal, for me. And I am glad there is more Sam stuff.
