OMG!
Kohji/Hiroko EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
They were making out on the floor of his former classroom (he took her to the college he used to attend). With the teasing and laughing and adorkableness. And the whole little joke that if they met when he was in college, it would have been a crime (I think there is 9 years difference between them). I think my bones melted at the sweetness. (Yes, I keep saying it a lot, but it's a bone-melting drama). And then they are walking and she asks him if he wants to go back to the past (i.e. college days) and he says no, because she wasn't there. I died. And she tells him she doesn't want to be without him and he is her happy memory and he asks her to move in and there is awesomeness and spinning! And their morning together is GLEE.
But ugh, Hikaru annoys the hell out of me! But she is a very realistic character, isn't she? She is someone who was dating a guy she liked in college, and then gave up on him (whether because she was too weak to face her family's objections or because she thought she could do better) but her marriage didn't work out, so of course she is looking nostalgically back to the days she was young and pretty and loved. Still, DIAF DIAF DIAF. I know it's going to cause huge problems! She got herself hired at Kohji's gallery and I love that he is looking for other places so he won't have to work with her and I just bet she is going to try to 'get him back' and seriously DIAF. But I do love that he made absolutely clear to her that he loves Hiroko.
Also, Kohji and Hiroko should have kids, he is adorable with that little boy.
ETA: So Hiroko is incredibly jealous, isn't she? Of Hikaru, and so there is a fight. Hiroko, you are being kind of an idiot, but I so understand where you are coming from. I suppose it comes from her being rather young, doesn't it? And of course, the desire to hurt the other person the way they hurt you. But the make-up letter from Kohji is adorable.
ETA2: DIAF DIAF DIAF DIAF DIAF HIKARU. Seriously. I hate when characters take advantage of others' decency.
ETA3: Hiroko, I love you, but you are being the world's biggest idiot, sorry.
ETA4: CAPSLOCK OF MAD RAGE ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH KEN DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE SELFISH HORRIBLE AWFUL PERSON DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE.
Ahem. I think I just might be overinvested in a fictional couple.
Nah.
DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE KEN DIE.
ETA5: He looked for her all night. *iz ded* And he is drawing her portrait. Oh hell, I bet she is now going to find evil Hikaru's ring, isn't she? I am so way past rational at this point...much too overinvested.
ETA6: fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck. He was going to propose! But she found that stupid ring. Helllllllllllll. Helllll. You know, that is why I haven't finished A Beautiful Life all these months later. I can barely bear to watch this one, and I know there is a happy ending, so I don't want to even contemplate how upset I will get to see Tokiwa Takako die in Kimura Takuya's arms. Need to repeat 'this is only fiction.'
Not working!!!
ARGH.
This is like the worst kind of PMS!!!!
ETA7: If anybody is worried about my impending heart attack, you can relax. I am pretty calm now. Admittedly, it's because the end of ep 10 cut out my heart and diced it into salad, but whatever works.
And Hiroko? This was probably the stupidest thing I've ever seen a drama heroine do. Seriously. Oh, girl. You stupid, stupid STUPID girl, Stupid.
So frelling stupid.
Stupid.
And all I have to say is this: if I were Kohji, I'd never forgive you.
Ever. Even as I understand you, so well.
Still.
There are some things that are just...
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
