Oh, yes, save the last dance is perfect isn't it. It had all the wonderful moments of angst, joy, love, heartache, jealousy, etc. I'm glad you also find it quintessential ( i said this somewhere else in a reply). I'm glad I am not the only one who found it so
( ... )
Haven't seen All In. Does he get a girl or is it one of those 'hopelessly pining for heroine only' things?
Re: HGD. I too find it s interesting what it has to say about society and realities of medieval world etc etc. I loved that it didn't end with a victory after CH took the throne. Because there are all those issues and revolutionaries really can't survive in it. But I still would have preferred YN/GD with three kids.
No, he doesn't get the girl. But the drama is also about friendship and he and lee byung hun have a complex friendship which is further complicated by song hye gyo.
I'm gearing up for a "Goong" rewatch; I was up to the third episode of "Mixed-up (Evasive) Investigative Agency" before work ate up my life; I'm planning to watch "The Devil" in May.
I think I'm going to catch up on "Who Are You" in a couple of months.
It's weird, because I have been thinking about "Save the Last Dance" when you started writing about watching it. :) I'll save that for another post. ;)
PLEASE TELL ME MORE ( I am in a terrible withdrawal after gulping all kinds of "Lovers" in one go) : No-one dies at the end??? I really want to watch this (seeing that joonni liked it too).
And thank you very much for the pictures of Lee Jun Ki. Hopefully Iljimae will have a happy ending.
Last Dance has a (very) happy ending. He remembers everything, the company is saved, he finds her. The ending image is him spinning her around joyfully. So yes, very happy. Nobody dies at all, except for her elderly Dad, near the beginning of the drama.
It's totally excellent. Seriously, seriously excellent. Lots of awesome OTP and the male lead is incredibly yummy.
I too hope Iljimae ends happily. Am very nervous about Korean takes on Robin Hood now :)
The best thing about this drama is that although they make things angst-filled they always do something uplifting ... like at the end when she gets in the accident, up to the very last minute I thought she was never going to walk again, and then they showed that last scene of them at the house and - I've never felt so relieved because she's walking and they're happy and healthy and in love! Although I have to admit that whole accident arc almost almost ruined the series for me.
Secondary girl? You don't know how many times I was like "just jump" "Yes die. Put us all out of our misery." Then I felt bad. Then I didn't because she's a fictional character who really sucks.
After watching StLD I tried to find other dramas with him but it looks like they're all secondary roles except for one medical type drama which aired recently I think...I'd love to see him as a lead in something else.

I like that, though.
Good to see you back, and feels like you've had a wonderful time in Thailand.

And thanks! I did.

I think LD was his first 'big' role and then he got drafted?
And secondary Girl: Oh, how I hated her. Her awful whining. I really wish they'd just let her jump. I'd certainly not try to save her...
