The manpain in this is so epic that it convinced me wuxias didn't believe in happy endings(I think ROCH is the first I saw that had one.)

Don't worry, there may not be writing letters in your own blood in this, but there's equal levels of manpain near the end.

When you refer to manpain that is so epic you thought wuxia never has happy ending, are you referring to lf or cp?

I am please to note that not only did the otp already do it by ep 2 but the bad guys arrived and so the major angst has started.

Apologies for going off topic but I don't know if you've heard: Lee Dong Gun's brother was murdered in Sydney on Thursday. It's terribly awful and I wonder how it will affect his career.

Oh my gosh, that's terrible!

I don't know how it would affect LDG's career though except that he might pull out of a drama he was about to start on? He is really having a bad year: first he and his long term gf have called it quits and now this (which is of course way more awful). And next year he is being drafted, of course.

He is one of my fave actors :(

CP has epic manpain at the end. TLF doesn't shirk on the angst either... the same director does both (I think so far he's directed EVERYTHING Hu Ge's done, including LOCH) and he likes to start dramas off all happy and fun to lure you in and then MAKE YOU CRY at the end.
