Decided: dramas I am taking on my super-long flights are Love Generation (Kimura Takuya! I haven't watched a jdrama for a bit), Smile Again and Save the Last Dance.

But this is not about that.

Somebody, talk me out of 90 DaysYeah, it's that drama where my current favorite kdrama actor, Kang Ji Hwan, plays a man with terminal illness who wants to ( Read more... )

kang ji hwan, youtube, love generation, 90 days, smile again, doramas, save the last dance for me, exhibition of fireworks

oh, man. 90 days. calledinvain March 19 2008, 23:52:21 UTC
such a car wreck. I have a very low threshold for that sort of angst for the sake of angst anyway, you know this - but I went in because I love Kim Ha Neul, who's playing one half of the (DOOMED) OTP and it's just....I couldn't deal. I mean, it's not sensationalistic like, oh, how awful their (in)significant others are to them - but in that real human drama way in that all the trouble and strife ultimately comes down to the decisions they make. The heroine's husband is so adoring and so lovely, and it breaks my heart when I think about it, and your guy has a wife and kid in this and it's just....GAH.

I know! Which is why the sane part of me wants to run away from this drama. But the rest of me wants it too much for sanity to win.

omg EOF?! it looks really food in the mv. lol, i watched this right after i finished delightful choon-hyang, and i loved it. watching this gave me a new "other woman" hate. oh man, the one here is pure evil. i think you'll probably like it. good mix of drama, comedy, and love. just, the ending kinda sucked for me. that could have been better.

I started it and it looks really cute...

a lot of kdramas run out of steam by the end. I wonder why

i've wondered the same thing. and it's usually the ones that start of really good at the beginning. they probably just couldn't think of an ending that could close it off perfectly; had run out of any good material. sometimes i think that they think that it's a good ending. maybe in korea those endings are a hit?

oh, and i forgot to say have fun on your trip!

Don't be fooled by that video. *shakes head*

Seriously though, of course you should watch it and see for yourself how you feel about it. You should always, ALWAYS, see something firsthand before you decide whether you like it or not. Not only do we all have different tastes but even those specific tastes can change. I've liked many a show (or thing) that people have hated.

Too true.

I am ten minutes in and it seems cute, if not earthshaking.

This is unrelated to post, but sort of related to a previous post. Kim Ha Neul!!! I recently found out since was the star of one my first (and favorite) kdrama. It's called Secret, and it's an oldie--back from 2000 or somesuch. (Didn't recognize her from the pic you posted because she looked so nice in that one, and in the drama she was very plain looking).

Anyway, I've scoured crunchyroll, mysoju, kdrama yahoo site (the one for purchase), jdrama lj-comm, and veoh for it, and it cannot be found. Do you know of *any* other place that might store this kdrama goodness?

Am at a lost, so thought I'd ask here as last ditch attempt...:(

PS: Have fun in Thailand! Eat all the food you can there because it will be SO GOOD!!

Thank you SO MUCH!!!

I've been trying to figure how much a DVD is, but the site is really does not seem to say. Does their price vary and I have to email them personally or is there a set price somewhere that I'm not seeing? I would have thought "How to order" link would have some info...

Their dvds are usually in the $20 price range but you have to email them and ask how much it is :)
