One Fine Day, books, and I discover my not-so-inner fangirl by listening to Kim Jung Hoon

Two episodes of One Fine Day in, and it's indeed, awesome, especially since as soon Gun hit the ground in Korea he shaved his moustache. Am not a fan of facial hair.

Btw, lesbiassparrow, I am shocked, SHOCKED you haven't watched this one yet. This is drama that has been written for you! You want quasi-sibling love relationships? We've got three, in various ( Read more... )

nd coming in to look on her when she sleeps despite her locking the door (the scene of her terror is awful to watch).

One of the creepiest kdrama moments I have ever seen. And it doesn't get any better. Can you say PSYCHO...

Yep. I was so happy when Gong Yoo beat him to within an inch of his life ... amazingly, it still didn't really work (from what I've seen so far)

Once I'm done OFD, I think I might have to start watching some Gong Yoo movies. Sigh. Only 19 months to go. Yeesh.

Completely unrelated did you ever start Exhibitions of Fireworks?

Yup, I started ep 8 now, and Creepy Not Brother is as psycho as ever.

Once I am done with this drama, I am out of GY dramas :(

Haven't gotten to EoF yet.

FABLES! SNOW! BIGBY! ROSE! JACK! KING COLE! SPOILER CHARACTER! PRINCE CHARMING! SPOILER CHARACTER! BUFKIN! MOWGLI! SLEW OF SPOILER CHARACTERS! CINDERELLA! BEAST! BEAUTY! BOY BLUE! *incoherent glee*

(Possibly something more coherent later, if I can think of a way to express my joy without spoiling.)

I think what throws me the most about the Watase yaoi is the uber manslut hero. Ceres and FY, among other things, both had severe rape and dominance tones, Alice 19th has the serious theme of mistakes screwing up lives for good, etc. But...I'm not used to half her OTP being a super manslut...esp. with that kind of variety. (And, honestly, mansluts cpmpletely alienate me. Yukimura and Gojyo and a few others are exceptions, but...)

Yeah, Fables is fun.

I'm forgiving of Night because he's built to be that way. On the flipside, that's the only Watase I haven't been able to get into. I'm only considering the drama because of Hayami Mocomichi.

I've never listened to Kim Jeung-hoon, but will now do that. I'm convinced from that MV you posted.

"One Fine Day" sounds really angsty. Let it not be said that it's not interesting. Hmmm...oh, goodness: can't get the image of Gong Yoo speaking English shirtless. This is bad.

OFD has a happy ending and a lot of angst in the middle, just like I like it.

Here is GY shirtless/English scene:

Mmmmm, books. I read the first volume of Fables and it is LOVE. I am not usually big on American comics because arts style and stories do not appeal, but this is awesome.

Woot :)

Did I mention the part where the author supposedly gave an interview where he said that one of the later arcs he wrote Fabletown is pretty much a metaphor for Israel holding its own against the empires around it? (I don't think that it's very explicit if that is not your kind of thing, but I thought it was still interesting)
