More hotness. You know, I think this is one of the shallow reasons I prefer kdramas. They are a lot more prone to have men and not boys as their stars. 35-year-old SIG, who looks like he eats regularly is a lot more my thing than a 20-year-old JE boy who looks like he's forgotten the meaning of food.

I have just started watching "Abe Hiroshi" at the moment and - Abe Hiroshi IS SO ATTRACTIVE! And he is older than I am!!!!!!! I am finding a total new meaning of jdramas. :P
But yep - kdramas are just such a joy to behold.

I am dying to know what you'll think about"Snow White"'s ending..

I already watched SW's ending (I osten watch the ending first) and it seemed very cute.

I know meganbmoore is an Abe Hiroshi fan. What's a good drama to check him out it?

I prefer the older jdrama actors (Kimura Takuya, Fujiki Naohito, Takeshi Kaneshiro when he still made jdramas *sigh*) to the younger ones. But generally Takki and Oguri Shun (both of whom are in mid-twenties, are as young as I go in jdramas). Even when I adore the younger ones, as with Kame or MatsuJun, it's still a 'adorable but too young, and evoking more of a desire to feed them than to check them out.' I think Yamapi is the only exception to that rule.

I am still very torn with Kame, but I never say never. :D I pondered on this and it seems that I prefer actors that are more masculine-looking, even if it is just a fraction more masculine, like Oguri Shun or Takuya.

I am watching Egao no Hosoku it seems very cute but I have only started. I'll make a picspam if it is going to be any good.

I LOOOOVE "Legend" (this drama set me off on watching "Winter Sonata". :D). I haven't finished it "Legend", though - I have been waiting for it all to be subbed as I got very impatient with subbing around episode 10 and then I just decided to watch it when all subs are out. I am also trying to stay away from spoilers as it is so good that I want to watch it unspoiled. :D The subs seems to be all ready now so I'll be squeeing soon too.

ENH sounds really cute.

Re: Kame. I am a total Kame fangirl but not for his looks. Abstractly, he is too 'girly' for me (says the girl who is nuts for Lee Jun Ki, but that's a separate matter :D) but somehow in his dramas, I can't look away and find him irresistable.

I am actually *gasp* unspoiled for legend as well. How shocking! I plan to stay that way, too. It looks too good to spoil.

And BYJ? Oh my...

Are there ever any Kdramas that end happy with everybody still alive?

LOL. Plently.

Snow White for example.

My Girl, Goong, Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang, Capital Scandal, We're dating now, Full House, Thank You, Hello Miss, Spring Waltz, Winter Sonata etc etc etc. But they are more prone to misery than average :)

I'm stuck halfway through episode 7 of Snow White, mostly because I want to slap Jin Woo so hard his head spins Exorcist-style. Sometimes, his behavior comes off as downright cruel. He has to be doing it on purpose. No one is that oblivious.

Also, I thought the heroine's (twitchy) face was familiar until AHA, it dawned on me that I'd seen her on 1% of everything where her acting made me cringey and twitchy myself. Yet, I may or may not be warming up to her... Must be the glasses.

I hope things heat up quickly between Sun Woo and Young Hee. This drama is thoroughly testing my patience.

And hey, don't you think Jin Woo's plastic girlfriend looks a bit like the leading lady in Lovers?

Awwww, I like Jin-Woo. He is really really dense, which makes sense as they've been friends for so long and he just sees her as a guy. Usually I am impatient with characters like this, but I like him.

I've never seen the lead actress anywhere before, but she has an odd face.

I think for a kdrama it moves pretty fast but of course it's kdrama pace. They are very very cute in eps 10 and 11. You want true slow torture, watch Loveholic. The first four eps are amazing, and fast-paced and lure you in like crazy and then it grinds to a complete holt for 13 more eps! It basically had enough story to make an awesome 5-6 ep drama but no luck. I barely made it through with huge fast-forwards.

Awwww. Poor Mi Joo in Lovers. I liked her even if I didn't think she was gorgeous. :(

Hmm, I'll pass? The thing is, this was on my list of dramas to watch -__-. Thanks for warning me. I've had enough snail-paced dramas to last me a lifetime. It's even worse when they hook you in with the first few episodes only to have the story go suddenly comatose on you.

Awwww. Poor Mi Joo in Lovers. I liked her even if I didn't think she was gorgeous. :(

I had to stop watching Lovers because, even though I liked Mi Joo and thought the woman was far from being an eyesore, Lee Seo Jin freaked me the hell out. He looked like a character from a Dragon Ball Z doujinshi for god's sake. I swear, his gigantic octogonal face still haunts my nightmares.

Yeah, I have never seen a story grind to a halt more quickly than Loveholic. Most kdramas drag a bit in the middle, but loveholic was a whole factory, no, a whole country's worth of drag.

Heh. I find LSJ one of the hottest actors out there, so I suppose more for me :)

I doubt we'll see any subs for 1 Pound no Fukuin until earliest Thursday. This lists the subbing group collab, and here is an update on progress.

But I watched the ending of AoS and didn't approve of it, because the two leads are back to their old tricks, picking up random people, not reformed or together at all. Thus not my thing.
