Bones...I try again, this time with 1.15

The geography is screwed up again but I don't care because Booth is being all manly and looming and protective. And jealous. The scene with the wannabe bf was hilarious. Oh, and he is all guilt-stricken about serial killer striking again as they didn't get him last time. Yes.

Actually, joking aside, this is actually not bad.

*shock*

Yeah, geography and the rockiness of S1 until "The Girl in the Garden" aside, Bones actually is pretty good, and not just on the OTP front.

And if it helps, they also spend a lot of eps somewhere besides DC. Granted, the geography probably isn't much better, but at least it's not pretty much your backyard.

I am about thirty minutes into the ep, and somewhere between dorky dancing in her house and Brennan and Booth discussing Booth's history of being tortured, I think I got hooooooked.

yeah, it does that to you...i was just pleasntly watching along s1 after getting it for cheap, thinking "it's not amazing but has charmingly characters and good dialogue" when suddenly booth went ballistic on a gangster who hinted he MIGHT have it in for her and is went "WTF?? WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!! MUST WATCH AGAIN!!" and was eternally hooked...

Secret to hooking meganbmoore: indicate willingness to tear through multiple opponents/tear apart half the world when someone indicates they MIGHT hurt your girly.

I am easily lured by such things.

I know I'm going to end up watching this, although I vowed never to watch another episode after the abysmal pilot. Now that I'm deeply in love with DB, there's no escaping it.

Just do what I do and do selective watching. Because seriously? Not a masterpiece but such good cheese.

Oh, I love Bones, I just haven't gotten around finishing the second series but it's a really good show plus... Booth. Mmm.

Is there anyway I can convince you to give
Life a try?

I love that when the chips are down they're both there for each other. I love that they complement each other, they are each other's yin and yang ( ... )

Oh noes, Bones got to you too?! ;)

It's not a bad show, but I already watch too many shows to REALLY get into it.

Hahahaha. See? Got you. It gets to this point where you can totally ignore the other more ridiculous aspects and just enjoy the heck out of it.

Hmm. I need to actually watch Season 1 at some point. *makes note to put it in Netflix queue*

Yup. All I need is enough cheesy angst. And this has buckets.
