How much do I love Taiwanese television?

Thiiiiiiis much. Yes, I know, I've never been to Taiwan and can only understand about five words in Mandarin. However, how could I resist such LOLz:

(1). As any of my drama-loving friends might know, last night was the airing of the first episode of They Kiss Again (aka ISWAK sequel). The first ep made

LOL. I am glad I am not the only one with such recognizable weaknesses :)

This drama seems to be swimming in evil parents. Apparently Hebe's Dad is so whip happy he has so far managed (in four eps!) to use this dread instrument of fangirl-delight-in-hc on all three main characters! That is some sort of a record. Heh.

I am about to start on it, so will definitely post about it if it's any good (or if it isn't). Especially with caps :)

no idea how a whip would work into any evil drama parent's attempt at eliminating his child's happiness

Let's face it, if there is a way, a drama parent will manage to find it. Poor Mike He though. Not only is his own drama father seemingly evil, but his probable future father-in-law is also evil (or at least whip happy). Does it make Hebe literally evil spawn?

I have been trying to watch currently airing or recently finished dramas but it's haaaaard. I mean, there aren't any kdramas or jdramas airing right now that I want to watch (though yes, I am dying for 1 pound no fukuin) but there are four (!!!) Taiwanese ones I am trying to watch: TKA, Bull-fighting, Delicious Relationship and Romantic Princess. And consisdering my backlog of finished dramas I am in the middle of, and my recent rediscovery of American TV, it's turning sort of insane.

And I have the first ten subbed eps of The Outsiders 2 waiting for me, as well...

"Over Time", which is GORGEOUS, Mousie. It's by the same writer who wrote THnK and it's very lovely thus far

Trying to get other people's husbands: SO VERY NOT CLASSY, LADY. Though Zhi Shu is much less oblivious than Xiang Qin, so I'm guessing all freaking outs will come from her. XD

Oh god I've missed a lot! I've watched a bit of bull fighting but where did you get it subbed?!(can I please have a link^_^)...oh yes! Finally! After thinking it'd come out in september then november and now FINALLY it is out! Do you know who's subbing ISWAK2?

ISWAK2 is being subbed by a bunch of groups. Not sure who though, as I am getting mine from lainemma. Subs aren't out yet, though.

I think Bull-Fighting is only currently being subbed by lainemma. But I can check around.

glad to know you love and appreciate Taiwanese entertainment :) I haven't been to Taiwan too but i love Taiwan because of their wonderful dramas/actors/actresses/singers :P it makes me sad whenever people says something bad about Taiwanese stuff :(
