Romeo & Juliet as steampunk

Oh, everyone.

I have a new anime love. It's Gonzo's stunningly beautiful, swoonily romantic, adventurous and heart-breaking fantasy retelling of Shakespeare's 'Romeo & Juliet' (titled Romeo x Juliet here).

You know, on the one hand, Gonzo did Peacemaker Kurogane, Samurai 7, FMP!, and Saikano(btw, you will never find more angst in anime than Saikano...)

But on the other hand, they did the Witchblade anime, which almost negates all of the above.

But I've been waiting for this to get licensed for a while now.

watching on the computer is an act of desperation for me.

it's gonzo, so it'll get licensed.

I love this! I'm on a R&J kick right now, preparing for the MET's R&J Opera I'm watching in two weeks, so this is defenelty something I'd love to see in full. :D

Do you know if the whole anime is on YouTube?
