While making the traditional pumpkin cake for breakfast somehow I broke the beaters. I was using the wrong bowl, scraping the sides, and the contact of the spoon to the beater broke the beater blade. It's not like I stuck the spoon between the beaters, so I'm not completely certain what happened there
