Me thinks my dedication and perpetual need to get things done quickly (Look ma! I'm the first one done) is going to do me in here at the new site. We (as in my boss and his partners) are building a new Comfort Suites hotel here in Merrillville. Its pretty swanky folks. Coolies- I hope you get one! It seems like alot of those will at least point you in the right direction and let you do what you wanted to do (unlike almost everybody else who gets out of college and ends up at some job that has nothing to do with their degree).

Lol, I hate those under qualified people and I try not to laugh when they're serious that for this uber tiny position with no benefits or salary that experienced people will jump all over it. Maybe if they wait long enough you get a desperate person that fits the other bill, other times I'm like, riiiiiight.

Good luck though seriously- it sounds like you are doing all that you can and then some. Oh and P.S. I am SOOOO about the health benefits! No nerd alerts needed for that one! Only 26 but I think its also because I dont have a solid health care right now and wish I could have a dentist and what-not. Blah.

See, I got lucky with the dentist thing- IU northwest has a dental hygene program and for like 68$ and three hours of your time, they have a clinic for the pubic so the students can get some hands on experience. They were very professional and very good. And of course PP for the woman parts. But I would kill for health care that covered vision and prescription drugs.

Right now I'm doing a job that isn't in my field and its offering a bit of financial security, but its not experience, so I can see why I would jump all over the chance to get the experience so I can trump someone else for once.

Plus, my aunt's right- I'm young yet, I should take the chance to live somewhere else, learn new things. As long as it pays the bills. :D I'll keep everyone updated.
