Looking for old filk guest bios! (updated entry)

Most filk guest bios written for convention programs are often a great source of information about filkers in the community, but they are usually forgotten after the convention. I'd like to start a permanent archive of bios about anyone in the filking community (performer or listener) in The Dandelion Report. Or if the bio is already online, please ( Read more... )

In other words, some of these guest bios are splendid works of creative writing, geared to fit the theme of a particular 'con or to build on gags elsewhere in the programs/PRs, so they may be misleading when taken out of context.

I've a vague feeling some of them are online already: Try googling for the individual convention names (Contabile; Con2bile, Treble, Fourplay, Pentatonic, VIbraphone, TranSept, Obliter-8, HarmonIX, Decadence, XIlophone, Didger-douze, Conthirteena, Contabile-Fortean, The Quinze Filk Festival, Sixteen Tones, DixSeption) and/or specific filkers' names.

Re. copyright: One option is to link to any existing online material, rather than reproduce it...?

Aha! Four of the cons are neatly gathered together here, with their PRs ( ... )
