[brings up a spike of ice from underneath the octopus-thing to try to freeze it in place]

[Yeah my eyes haven't really left it] We may have to, unless someone comes up with a solution they are 100% positive will work. Otherwise, the alternative may become it growing so large it won't need to move.

If we're fortunate, the one running this game will take into account that we're leaving it alone and get rid of it. We'll see. In the meantime, we leave it alone.

Well of course. If it were to become aggressive that changes the circumstances completely. But as for the moment, we don't need to worsen our problems.
