Photography is an art of feeling, of touching, of loving, of remembering. What you have caught on film remains forever, forever yours...

ide, this was completely adorbs, where to start, where to start, where to start *_____* so many pretty details, so little memory span to remember them without scrolling up and down, ahahahaha //has the brain capacity of a goldfish
first things first, i liked how it was a one-sided-ish relationship in the beginning, and how it progressed as a tentative friendship because yeah, they're strangers and in a foreign country and such coincidences (lol, those cunning travel agencies) are rather suspicious; it's realistic and awkward, yet romantic and kind perfect in its stumbling-along-until-we-get-it-right kind of way. even after the helping each other out parts, ~progress~ wasn't immediate, because it's what friends do, and the buildup to how it maybe possibly might be ~more~ is subtle enough that you're being a tease (“It’s just you and me, Donghae,” Sungmin smiled at him from behind the camera, and Donghae’s heart fluttered, “all you and me right now, come on, I need you to engage with me.”) while feeding us uber sweet moments ( ... )

do you have any idea how painful the ~progress~ was, the endless pain trying to make it work, try to slow their progress down and drop hints here and there, show more awkwardness and how they're actually developping as two individuals (even though I failed quite a bit, I obviously didn't do them enough justice in the piece. they seemed a lot more thorough inside my head... which is the critical problem)
the party scene was one of the easiest and one of my favourite scenes to write, it was so natural, how hae is displaced like a fish out of water, how sungmin might actually not mind the social gatherings, i personally loved the scene. whining!sungmin's mom was amazing to write.
keke, pot calling kettle black. <3 lemonade, blueberry vodka. i loved it. LOVE. get legal soon ( ... )

i can imagine! it's why long!fic and i don't go well together; i'd get too excited and start rushing things along XDDD (i still noticed the awkwardness, and though the development was subtle, i get what you mean now that you pointed it out :3 i'm just a slow reader ok, i need to reread and stuff to digest! it's not you :Db)
counting down the days, seriously, or wishing i was in europe. whichever would be faster ;w;
and so the snapshot metaphor expands :O
then do it! roll with whatever ~inspires~ you :3 and nooo~ i mean, writers that are close with their characters give them more life, right? //has a lot of ~feelings~ regarding writing, haha!

the development of their relationship is so drawn out and awkward and so...them. the way their friendship builds up into smth more, ugh. the slow progress makes the ending that much more sweeter. oh! your use of photography to capture the development of their relationship is so fucking gorgeous. from sungmin only taking pictures of sceneries to him taking pictures of donghae to him taking selcas with donghae!!!! too fucking adorable, really.
your batshit craziness rubbed off on some of the dialogues. idk, that just made me laugh. and uh, i hope this is kind of a satisfactory comment for you, but, eh, who the fuck am i kidding, i just pulled all of this out of my ass. lol sorry

but yes, thanks for reading, and the dialogue probably does contain some of my eccentric attributes =D

the one thing i hate about longfics is that you need to write scenes explaining the next scene and the next. and sometimes, some scenes you just want to get over and done with so i rush those most of the time (or i give up and leave the thing altogether nyahaha :3 happens a lot. happens more than a lot ;~;). you, however, seemed to make all the scenes flow really well together, something that i cannot do.
i looooove how you wrote the development of their relationship! how sungmin was so standoffish at first and donghae was kind of being creepy and stalker-ish which was so him XD it's highly understandable however, as they're foreigners on a foreign country, i probably would stick to sungmin/a person of the same country as me if i were in donghae's position hahaha donghae was super funny in his persistence to get to know sungmin! it's very admirable that he didn't give up despite sungmin blatantly ignoring him ( ... )

sungmin would be creeped out y'know, random cute guy hitting on him at airport in random city while waiting for a random flight. as for donghae's motive and whatnot, i plan on writing a series of related pieces in this AU that will provide more depth and insight to their development?
yes. i've discussed this with people, i don't like how sungmin is characterized as some weak, passive, feminine character. donghae's just slightly too bubbly for my own liking, he seemed like he didn't really have any substance.
kaka, im glad you picked up on the photography parallelisms along with their progressing relationship. glad you like it hehe.
hah, you're much too kind. im weird and retarded, and yes, i'm gonna keep writing oneshots and various pieces based on this snapshotAU (preludes, things in between, future fics, etc hehe), it's just that i've been so lazzyyyyyy :( :(

Wait! I take that back~ *runs of to read the rest of your fics*
