I will keep the notes brief. This vid is only my fifth completed one to date, but it also was the one which took me the longest. I had my MA dissertation land squarely in the middle of this project. I began the vid in August and picked at it as I finished my dissertation. Which means, by the time I finished this vid near the end of October, I was thoroughly sick of looking at it. I had, in fact, looked at it so much I had become blind to its weaknesses, to the point that I became difficult to beta because I just would not listen to my beta's well-meaning advice. I think the lesson here is that it might have been a good idea to give the vid a few days to stew without me tweaking it or having feedback on it, so I could have some distance and objectivity about it, rather than just "goddammit, I want it done".
Don't get me wrong though. I also had a ball making it. I focused on movement but I also just had a blast putting it all together and trying to imagine ishyface's reaction. :DDD And yeah, Elliot, I totally know there is not nearly enough Mandy in here. I'm totally biased for the hot dudes, just like you're kinda biased about the hot girls. Maybe next time?
The astute viewer will note the vid is dated November 2008. ishyface's birthday is not until the 2nd of November. I was planning to release the vid a day early, but, due to some family things, I am not sure if I'll be around to post it. So I figure, what the heck. I'll let this vid loose even earlier!
