Yes, definitely. It's part and parcel of the companion's function as a character, I think: seeing the good in others, especially the Doctor.

This looks wonderful! Fantastic idea for a fanmix! I didn't enjoy most of 'Amy's Choice' (I really can't stand the thought of Amy/Rory romantically) but I did love the dynamic between Dream Lord/Doctor/Amy. I loved how subtle the Doctor and the Dream Lord were even though they were talking about some important subjects. :D
