Ah, I wish I had a spirit guide hovering over my shoulder when I had been in my trash bin before I hit "empty". Oh, well. This is the way of life. I'm happy with what I have written now, so yay!

Thanks! I'm definitely being paranoid about backing up now. I've got it hooked up to my Google Drive so it saves every time I save, and I'm also putting it on a USB every twenty minutes or so, haha. No more mistakes on my end. At the very least, it's much better than it was before!

It's so good! It's hard to not go into the kitchen and eat it all at once. =P

Yeah! It went much faster than I was expecting it to! I'm six words away from the word limit right now, and all I'm looking to do is write one more sentence, make a figure to illustrate my point and then I'm done.

It sounds like you knew what you were doing, deleting that old essay - it wasn't a mistake at all! Yay! This calls for more wine and bread, by the way.

Life is good here - several snow days and I am all caught up on my grading and have been reading my book while I watch the snow pile on. I should post soon....my son is doing well in San Diego and my daughter got a job here for the summer. Woot!

That may just be it! I'm kind of glad it happened, even though it took forever to get done! It definitely calls for more wine and bread! I finished my essay at 2AM, so I crashed pretty much the minute I was done and I have to go in to the university to submit it, but when I get home, there will be celebration!

Snow! Hopefully it's not putting you too far out of the way! It's good to hear that your son's adjusting to life in San Diego! It's also really great that your daughter was able to get a job so early on!
