Have you talked to a pediatrician yet? O2 sats in the 80s is a BIG DEAL. It means he was struggling to breathe for a while. L was kept on O2 for another month because her sats dropped into the 80s when she was eating. L was checked into the hospital last fall because she was reading an 86, and she was almost 3. acrocyanosis is not sometimes blue, it is always blue and sats are normal. I really recommend you get a second opinion.
