Linking an artist I found wandering the grainy black-and-white depths of Tumblr last night: apparently I want to be Ebru Sidar when I grow up. Given that she's a few years older than me and schooled as an engineer, I am for once more inspired than discouraged

Wow! I can see why it was hard to pick just one thumbnail. Those are really stunning.

The Night Faeries second eye portrait is, I think, my favorite. Even if I spent a distressing amount of time guessing at the identity of the foreground tree. [grin]

That's one of the very few I was considering for a thumbnail. Did you guess it? I haven't tried.

(The others were pine forest and blurry people-in-ruins, which I suspected was not quite as representative or compelling to the average viewer, but just a matter of my own taste.)
