It appears to be time get a new monitor for my desktop. Last night's photo processing binge (four months late) may well be the last straw for discovering inconsistent and bad colour balance issues only after I look at the files again on a different machine. Bad I expect. Inconsistent is another problem entirely, and means bad can't be made up for

I really love the way that one turned out. When I first looked at it on the laptop, I thought the colour was off, but now I'm remembering that one was actually that contrasty in person, being why I took it in the first place.

So many hundreds more pictures from Butchart. Want to go back. Wah.

hah. I wish I had a hundred acres of interesting rock features in a temperate rainforest climate, and the money to landscape it... and yet the first one's my favourite too, and I bet I could grow them at home if I knew what they were.

Thanks! Photo geekery is by far my preferred artistic medium, but I haven't done much in the last year or two. Am trying to fix that.
