Well, I started trying to do that alternate ending, but then I got stuck because some people said the guards wouldn't accept blowjobs bribes or let Kiryu go. And they're probably right, but I had this all planned out, and I was trying NOT to write a jailbreak, because that was in Silvormoon's fic and I don't want to copy her. So I think this

My view of fanfic has always been to write what makes me happy no matter how highly unlikely it is. Then again, I also keep to myself most of the time so no one notices if I run around posting self-indulgent idfic.... Which, come to think of it is all I do ever. XD

Basically, I say do what makes you happy and not worry if it's coherent or not.......... Of course, my advice is pretty much universally bad, so... XD

I think I might take a break for a few days and see if I get any new insights really, I just want to skip to the part where Crow takes care of Kiryu...but I've written so much of the first part already.
