The sunrise was unusually...white this morning.
Tucson last saw snow on New Year's around about 1960.

It apparently snowed in Pasadena, too, though not up here in the Bay Area. It's gorgeous. I remember Tucson snows. Magical.

That's beautiful. Here in the north of England the snow that arrived on the evening of the 26th has finally gone, the last of it washed away by rain. The world seems gloomier without it, but easier to get around in.

We actually got snow sticking in the city - only on the grass, but a good centimeter thick. Took TBD out for her first desert snow as the sun rose.

We got about an inch. Enough to know we got it, and be spectacular at sunrise.

Wow. I'm in the land of wind and driving rain; not a snowflake on the ground. (And I'm happy with that, we have a long drive ahead of us soon.)
