I'd say that's much worse, if you were going to look at it that way. Sex is sex.
Someone once told me that a friend of his was pissed at his girlfriend for having sex with someone she was not at all emotionally attached to (a drunk, one-night stand), but he'd be fine if she and that guy had been hanging out and were emotionally attached in the way people are in relationships.
I honestly don't understand why people go, "OMGZ! She had SEX with another person! Oh, but she can have an emotional relationship with someone. That's fine."
Frequently. You're just asking for trouble when you commence multiple partner relationships. You can delude yourself you can cope with it, but you're pissing in the wind. It'll bite you on the arse eventually.
