Right, so, London continues to rock my socks, although I didnt make it to the Tower of London today. Long story, fueled by my anxiety, times two, plus an error in judgment. I liked the Being Human BBC pilot, and then they recast it and it lost all interest for me, I don't know why. So maybe I should watch the US version?

Queer As Folk? Because I've got both on dvd, and the American beats the hell out of the UK version.

That said, I fucking FEAR how much utter shit Skins is going to be turned into when it's on MTV or whatever the fuck. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to turn Maxxie into lesbian named Tea needs to be kicked in the face. Also, if the Tony character is ugly I'm gonna haveta cut a bitch.

Lol, you should have seen my earlier draft of this comment where I said something like "The Office and Antiques Roadshow and [insert successful show here] were just exceptions that prove the rule u guise! I am a biiiig Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes fan so I have ze Big Issues with what Americanization can be like.

I know that Americanization can work out, It's just that you've almost *got* to be as pessimistic as possible about conversion because getting your hopes up is soooo Not A Good Idea. Plus, it's fun to be a hater of adaptations like this, you will almost always be right \o/
