As always, once the MRSA shows up - other illnesses appear. thats the problem with this fucking disease. The abscess itself isnt THAT bad. It sucks, it hurts, but if that were all there were to it, it wouldnt be so life-disrupting. But because my immune system is weakened, other bugs get in. So, the sniffles I had a week ago has turned into a full ( Read more... )

I watched this: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/dear_zachary/
It totally made me cry. Bit slow in the middle-end, but then WHAM. Really interesting.

I meant to also say that I watched this at like 3am last night, for I am sick too!

Also, if you haven't seen it, Murderball was great.

I saw Murderball a few years ago. It was so good. I think I can get Dear Zachary....thats the one where the mom killed the father right?

Yeah, that's the one. It was weird at first, because the man who was killed was just kind of strange looking, and I really had to yell at myself for being so shallow about his appearance in the beginning.

Family Fundamentals is INFINITELY sadder. At least some of the families rallied behind their children in FTBTMS. NO ONE stood by their children in Family Fundementals. But I know what you mean.

I just saw how sick you've been. That sucks! Good thing you've got the good drugs though *g*

Y'know, since we got the documentary channel I've been glued to the cult stuff too. I'm not quite sure why; I think I kept expecting to find something that lets me figure out why the cult members fell for it, but it's always the same - they're just ordinary people. Which in itself is fascinating.

Sickness is bad!

Here: See random water documentaries that flist friend was forced to watch watched this summer. *grin* 'Twill make it all better! *shifty eyes*

FLOW is a great 'srs bzns' doc on water, Gimme Green is a hilarious one about the ridiculousness of lawns, and Plagues & Pleasures on the Salton Sea just makes me giggle for the sheer strange factor of the people in it... It's about a fake 'sea' that was created in California that... Well. Died. Fun times?

Seriously though - I hope things start looking up health-wise! And that the documentaries are awesome, of course.
