It was late November, 'Nutcracker' season at my dance studio, and I was just let out of rehearsal for one of my 4 dances.

I could feel the tension here as error upon error piled up, feeling like it's all your fault, while feeling like there's nothing you could do to control it. The reprieve at the end was such a relief.

What a horrible position to be in! I was glad to see that you regained the instructor's trust and managed to perform the ballet. That must have taken a lot of hard, desperate work.

That is a lot of stress for one so young, and it's amazing what one missed session can cost you in dance, when there is choreography you haven't learned.

I'm glad you were able to pull through, with the help of that friend (and her encouragement) and devoting time to studying the video!

This was a great redemption tale. I tend to repeat mistakes if someone's yelling at me or making me conscious. So, my heart really went out for the protagonist. :)
