I didn't think Rodney had that kind of stealth in him, though, and I'm still not sure I do.

I haven't watched a lot of the show so I was probably more able to accept it, but from what I have seen of him his plans often do not go well so for him to pull this off so successfully, yeah, questionable.

I'll be curious to see how Painkiller Jane fairs in the ratings. Dumb TV finds it's share of success, but I'm hoping people will see how really bad the show is.

It's got the 'Gates to cushion it. But I don't think I want to live in a world where people watch this show.

"Drive" is indeed tonight, 2 eps; then another tomorrow night. So far, I'm intrigued.

I wasn't paying close attention to PKJ, but when I looked up thinking that it was over, and saw that it was only 20 after 10? Not good...

I was... not blown away by Drive--unfortunately, the race premise is not something that I'm drawn to in general--but I really liked the Nathan Fillion parts, so I'm willing to see where it goes.

Painkiller Jane, on the other hand. I can't figure out how they managed to fill up the entire hour without having more than one simple plot and without telling the audience what was going on at all.

Drive struck me as the results of Tim Minear mainlining reality shows until he started dreaming about them. I am amused at the volume of cliche road movie pairings they have managed to jam into a single show. Like you, I was not blown away, but that may be a good thing. It's on Fox, which means it's twice as likely to get canceled.
