OMG the dog pics are hysterical! Yeah, you can see him getting progressively more pissed off. My favorite though has to be the one with him in the sunflower hat? bonnet? and looking towards the sky in some mock recruitment poster pose.
I really enjoyed season 1 of 'Dark Angel' and by episode two of the second season I knew it was going to a very bad place, very, very fast. If I recall correctly 'X-Men' had opened the spring before and FOX had the brilliant idea to reinvent the show in it's image. It just came off as a really bad rip-off. Then there was the worst plot contrivance ever to keep Max and Logan apart. The only good thing about that season was that it got Jensen off of 'Days of Our Lives' and I'm sure he's grateful for that.

He actually doesn't look homicidal in that one!
Yes, the wholesale lifting of the X-Men concept in Season 2 was pretty obvious. The stupid thing about the virus, aside from its existence in the first place, is that it probably would have worked better if they'd just played it straight instead of having Max swear not to see Logan at the end of every episode and then cave at the beginning of the next one. She made Buffy's breakups with Angel in Season 3 of Buffy look positively decisive.
I prefer to think of it as "reliable." /John Crichton
I'm not sure I actually ship anyone strongly on Firefly. I enjoyed the canon pairings--Zoe/Wash, Mal/Inara, Kaylee/Simon--but never got beyond feeling like we were at the beginning of the developmental curve for all of them, and never really developed strong feelings about them

What the hell did they do to Michael Weatherly's hair in the first half of the season? You just don't do that to a man who looks like him. Or anyone.
Well, y'know, he was depressed. Depressed guys always immediately go to their hairdresser for a new do followed by some retail therapy involving buying clothing with too-long sleeves. ::rolls eyes::
Oh, I can't agree with you more about Dark Angel. I just re-watched the series over the past week and a half, and the only real bright spots were Alec and the Jam Pony crew (at times

I thought the actor who played Joshua did a wonderful job, but that didn't save the fact that Joshua was the lynchpin of a truly awful storyline.
I loved Original Cindy in the first season, and I loved her friendship with Max, because it was organic and gave Max some grounding. It really made me cringe that they reduced her to exposition device and sidekick, but they pretty much flattened the whole Jam Pony crew into bland plot devices (though, yes, Normal's crush on Alec was hilarious, and I liked that Sketchy did finally get a storyline).
I think I recognized Otto from Stargate Atlantis. There really are only 40 working actors in Vancouver!
You are much more articulate than I about Dark Angel S2. If I recall, my reaction ran more along the lines of "What the- Guh?!? Just... No! Whuh? GAH!" and then we broke up. When Original Cindy (love her!) is what I'm watching for, the show's taken a serious, serious detour. Into badness.
I just adored Original Cindy! I was less than pleased that she was reduced to expository device and handy sidekick, but at least she made the scenes she was in watchable.
Since my answer to Stargate is extraordinarily simple (I love the team! And Daniel/Vala! And Vala/anybody, pretty much.) I'll take BSGI have shipped Kara/Lee for a really long time. I have no illusions that as of the end of Season 2, any get-together would have been anything other than a giant ball of dysfunction, but I think they complement one another and when they work together it's beautiful to watch. Now, though, the fact that they haven't seen each other in over a year and are pretty much married to other people have put a little bit of a dent in that. (Okay, the fat suit might have something to do with it too--if I could take Lee seriously again, that would help.) I also have come to quite like Anders, and the fact that he fights the same fight as Kara, and I can see why she married him

And I'll pick Firefly for the meme. I'm predictable!

Um...Stargate. Or BSG, take your pick.
