So apparently my new fall TV is... a show that ended in 2002. How did I get to this point? Some deadly combination all of the fun shows being in the summer now (Leverage, Burn Notice); steady adherence to a policy of not watching shows that seem likely to make me angry (Dollhouse, Stargate Universe); and a total lack of actual fannishness about ( Read more... )

I can tell it's been awhile since I've watched The X-Files because, with the exception of 'Beyond the Sea', considered one of the series best episodes, I was having trouble recalling what you were talking about.

You watched twenty minutes of Eastwick? I only lasted five!

While there are several shows I'm enjoying watching this season, none I'm feeling fannish enough about to discuss. It's very strange.

Also it makes me sad that Eastwick made you squirm, but I haven't watched since the pilot at ComicCon so I dunno, maybe I might be squirmy too. :-/

But you appeared really quite skilled at it -- it means you will almost certainly notice when the X-Files starts recycling actors (CKR included).

Ha! SG-1 does that too, shamelessly.

Awww. I have so missed the X-Files and didn't even truly realize it until now. I am totally going to have a marathon this weekend.

It holds up really well, too. The shoulder pads are huge and the cell phones brick-like, but mostly it's good fun.
