I am still coughing. UGH. But at least it was just a cold; my company's HR just reported the first confirmed case of H1N1 in the office. So glad I'm working from home today.
And that there's new The Office to watch during lunch!
I am doing no latent Andy/Oscar shipping! I'm just seeing the potential of where that storyline could go! And Andy could do worse. :p
What I found most fascinating is that Micheal's plan to undo the damage he did was actually the result of pretty sound reasoning. If all the other rumors turn out to be false, then why should they believe Stanley was having an affair? Of course, it's Michael and he screwed it all up in the end.
I'm glad you're starting to feel better! When will the CDC recognize con crud as the scourge it is?
I just recently found my copy of The Terror Dream again after I put it aside more than a year ago after reading the first hundred pages or so. It's not that I didn't think it was interesting or valid, it's just that it was making me so ANGRY that I had to stop reading it for a while. I would really like to finish it sometime, though. As I'm sure you could guess, Backlash was a huuuuuge influence on my college-age self.
I have only recently been able to read any sort of 9/11- or Iraq war-related nonfiction at all. I get the anger. And Backlash was also a huge influence on my college-age self, as it happens.

Andy has done worse, too.
Most of Michael's ideas have some sort of basis in logic, if you put them under a microscope.
