Some may sleep, some may not

I had a bout of epic insomnia this week, possibly related to the fact that I have hit the first in a series of major deadlines at work, or possibly related to the fact that I haven't been running much thanks to all the rain. So I started taking the sleep medication my doctor had wanted me to try out, and that I had tossed in the back of the ( Read more... )

We covered a lot of territory last night with BSG and your post and mine make a lot of similar points. Which is my way of saying I have nothing to add!

I still don't know how I feel about TSCC. I caught onto which storyline was reality pretty quickly too, but there are things about the structure that aren't working for me. Was she dozing off when she was having the hospital nightmare? Was she having a waking nightmare? Had she gone so long without sleep she was hallucinating? And the Cameron/John/vending machine scene was really troublesome since it could only happen from their POV.

Thanks for the Leverage link. I watched the finale this afternoon, LOVED it, and realized I was eager for a DVD release. I wonder if I'll view the show differently seeing the episodes in their intended order? I have grown to love all the characters, but am particularly pleased that Christian is part of the series and that he has found a role that so well utilizes his abilities. Accept Eliot still needs to sing as part of a cover. ;)

Yeah, that was either sloppiness of deliberate misdirection, neither of which is a good thing. I was overall very pleased with the episode, but that was a problem.

It's a good fit for him. And they're also utilizing his hair! I think I need Leverage icons...

I'd vote for deliberate misdirection, which I hate.

I need Leverage icons too! Let me know if you find some good ones. :)

The vending machine scene actually didn't bother me. Dream or hallucination, there's no particular reason Sarah's brain couldn't have created that scene.

That Deep Dark Chocolate Cake looks about like the yummiest thing I have ever seen in my life. Thanks for the link!

I am eyeing the lemon blackberry, the polenta pear, and the honey pound cakes pretty seriously myself.
