Do you know how much I missed your Office thoughts? *sniffle* It would take me forever to comment on everything, but I enjoyed all of it.
It was an easy joke, but Jim's description of the phone guy coming in, showing Michael the PA function, and then just leaving made me laugh and laugh. It was like he was describing a terrible atrocity; in a way, he was.
Hahaha, yes. It was like some stranger walked in and gave your child a giant set of drums and then ran out of the room. I loved that.
Though I simply adored LCP1 and just liked LCP2, I found the building momentum of these episode of late to be rather good and enjoyable. Honestly, having two episodes with a focus on Dwight/Jim and Pam/Michael, even if the second half wasn't as good, just made me incredibly happy.
I looked at the picture of Peter and all I could think was, "I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley."
I've been watching The Office, but I can't muster the enthusiasm for it that you and others do. The one thing that really bothered me in the last episode was Holly was out of the office for three days and left her computer on. And it wasn't password protected. AND she saved a personal item to her desktop. Who does that?!

Whereas all I could think was "OMG, he has a Floyd!" He does look disheveled, though.
I honestly never thought to nitpick those things, although they are usually a lot more careful than that. I don't think the leaving the computer on is that unusual, though; most people in my office only reboot once a week or so if they can get away with it, myself included.
I happened to read the novel right after I'd seen an amazing exhibit of the Hamzanamah - the adventures of Amir Hamza - which was created for the Mughal emperor Akbar, so the novel was reinforced for me by the experience of seeing the paintings.
That must have been really interesting. I'm glad I might not have been off-base with my guesses; the stylization was so different from his other works that I knew there had to be something important about it, and I wish I'd had more background to understand it.

I really enjoyed that too. "Traveling Salesman" is one of my favorite episodes just for the Jim/Dwight tag-team sales call.
