Happy (belated) birthday, dtissagirl!

I am beyond behind in posting about (or, for that matter, watching) TV, and RL has been rather frantic since I got back, but I wanted to write the con up while I still remembered it. He's made of almost as much magic as Claudia Black. If they both weren't so amazing, I'd hate them. Although, wow, Ben Browder is kind of crazy, isn't he? Hee. The stream of prop photos is high comedy.

Claudia's hair is kind of freaking me out. Other than that, I loved every bit of this con report. *g* Thank you for taking the time to do it!

Actually, that's one of the lower-rent views in the city; it's known euphemistically in real estate ads as "a view of the Southern hills." But it's still pretty on a clear day.

YAY. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, and I really wish I could've crashed the party, too, and hung out with you guys. (Though there possibly would have been actual swooning when Ben sang, so... perhaps it was for the best?)

Eating at a Red Robin on the 5 was not the same without you. On the other hand, I do not have medical training to deal with swooning, so there is that.

Thank you for posting this! (Did Gigi and Virginia not do panels?) I'm glad you had such a good time. And wow, Claudia's hair frightens me. Heh.

It's really, um, curly. I did not realize how curly.

Gigi and David Franklin both had things on Friday, but we didn't have tickets for that day, and didn't quite realize there were events besides the cabaret until we got our schedules Saturday morning. Virginia Hey had a panel on Sunday after Ricky Manning's, but I just totally cannot deal with her for a variety of reasons, so we elected to skip it.

Claudia played the Damien Lewis character's ex-wife in the original pilot, but when the show was picked up, she wasn't in a position to re-shoot the scenes, so they re-cast the part. (And, randomly, the actress who got the role is my mayor's wife.) There might still be some clips from the original pilot floating around on YouTube; I know there were for a while.
