Sadly, when I take Floyd for a run, he's generally ready for more by the end of it, while I'm a sweaty, panting mess. Which would be less humiliating if he weren't 90 years old in people years.
Shanks was making Bruce Campbell look like Patrick Stewart. Which, I think, worked overall--the show itself is very larger than life, and the role was clearly over-the-top-bad-guy, but still. I smelled bacon.
I was petsitting this weekend too. However, Steinway, who is now a little old man, takes 40 mins to go around the block, poor puppydog (it's about half 'must sniff everything' and half arthritis).
Oh Michael Shanks. I just don't know what to think. You are pretty, and snarky, but I just don't know about your acting. (Ha! USA is rerunning this ep right this moment!) Anyhow, I kept seeing MS instead of the character, but I don't if that's my fault or his.
Floyd isn't moving as fast as he used to. He seriously overdid it playing fetch at a party Saturday night and ended up acting like his hindquarters were bothering him, and I actually had to carry him down the stairs Sunday morning, but he started moving more easily as the day went on.
I have one standard comment about Shanks' acting: he's very pretty. *g* I actually think he's done pretty well with a few scenes on SG-1; maybe it's my irrational prejudice, but I thought he played well off Claudia Black. But the Burn Notice role seemed to be written as over the top, so it was hard to tell how much of it was that and how much of it was his choices.

YAY to renters! Especially since I don't want them interfering with MY weekend plans.
And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who felt Shanks was laying it on a bit thick. He was making Bruce Campbell look subtle.
