Happy birthday raincitygirlWhen I was at my first tech writing job after moving to the city, I worked from home on Mondays and Fridays, and on Mondays I used to have regular dinner parties for 8 people. I was very confused, but Mulder was kind of floating on this hanging bed thingy and he had green stuff all over him.

The Connie Willis novel I bought was Doomsday Book; bheerfan has read a lot of science fiction and had some interesting recommendations.

Strangely enough, that doesn't sound like an unusual position for Mulder.

I'll be interested in reading your thoughts on Doomsday Book. It's been more than ten years since I read it, but it made a big impression on me at the time.
