Weekend
Toddlerhood is both fun and trying. On Friday night I felt like Mina was pushing and Brian kept trying to undermine my attempts at parenting, not giving me a chance to intervene and/or trying to tell me what to do or cut me off when trying to interact with Mina at dinner. Einstein was also bored throughout school and eventually dropped out :) But it's still not a solution I can endorse... I should have been bored, I certainly complained about several subjects being boring, but I never had the attention problems so many parents and teachers complain about now. I think I'm just so meticulous that I wanted to learn/write down everything "just in case".
I've always been a firm supporter of public schools
Yay public schools! Admittedly *my* public schools were pretty much equivalent of private schools because of the tax base in my hometown, but IMO the socialization aspects of public schools can't be replaced.
