Title: Ring
Word count: 100
disclaimer: All lieeeeeees

It isn’t fancy or ostentatious. It isn’t flash or bling. It isn’t expensive or priceless, It simply says, “Always yours” He wears it on a chain around his neck, it’s private, intimate and close to his heart. John had given it to him a few years back (around the time when they made the transition from being just friends to infinitely more)

John had been nervous, unecessarily worried for Frank’s reaction, not wanting to seem girly. However, the minute Frank opened it he was speechless, touched by the thought and suddenly embarrassed by the measly Cd’s he was offering in return.

A/n: inspired by a 'ch' spelling list from one of the kids I tutor

Chess

For Frank and John, life is like a game of chess, a strategic game of winning time and avoiding capture, the thinking and planning is tiring, but the rewards are so very worth it.

Change

The world around him was always changing, players came and went, friends were made and then lost, managers changed more often than the kit design, but through it all there was always one constant, John, at his side, through it all.

Chocolate

If it was a girl, he would have bought her chocolates, got on his knees and grovelled, but, as it was John, somehow chocolate sauce on Frank’s naked body seemed a more appropriate apology, Frank really knew the way to John’s heart

Coach

The best part about every game was the coach journey home, where Frank would settle himself next to John, and, in his tired state, rest his head on john’s shoulder, allowing himself to publicly be in John’s warm and comforting embrace.

Beach

The warm sand tickled John’s toes as he gingerly stepped across the golden beach, he looked across at the man whose fingers were entwined with his as they made their way along the shoreline, the wind rustling their hair, the perfect backdrop for a little time spent warmly in each other’s company “mate, you might want some suncream, you’re starting to burn,” John rolled his eyes, Frank really knew how to ruin a moment!

drabble, john terry, sentences, advent calendar, frank lampard
