Summary: Frank calls John over for an emergency
When Frank opened the door bundled up in what looked like every jumper he owned, John could pretty much work out the ‘major emergency’, either Frank had an extremely high temperature, or the boiler had packed in again, and given Frank’s perfect health this morning, John guessed it was the latter.
“They can’t come out to fix it until tomorrow” Frank sighed, “trust this to happen on the coldest day of the year!”
John shivered as he stepped inside, how could it be colder inside than outside? “Well I don’t see what use I am Lampsy, boilers aren’t really my speciality”
Frank thought about a quip with bunny boilers but he held his tongue, john had come to his rescue after all, he should probably at least try and be nice, so instead he plonked himself down on the sofa, joining John under the blanket, where the younger man had already settled himself down. “Don’t worry mate, I had a different use in mind for you”
John looked at him out of the corner of his eye, intrigued, “Oh really, and what might that be?”
“It gets awfully cold, when you’re all alone on a winter’s night” Frank said, trying to look innocent, though the corners of his mouth were twitching, giving him away.
John just laughed, “Is this just an elaborate ploy to get me into bed by any chance?”
Frank smirked back, kissing John on the lips, “how did you guess”.
