The last book in a trilogy I'd been reading came out the day after Christmas, and I was excited to go and get it. I heard that it had leaked early so I searched for it in Barnes and Noble, dragging Courtney to the "Teen Section." i have read a good deal of meg cabot and enjoyed it! there is definitely a place for escapist literature, and a lot of "escapist" lit can simultaneously be interpretive. i mean i think it can be petty to draw those divides as i was, i was just being condescending to tease you. you're always reading jane austen anyways ( ... )

hah. no... there isnt really a name for the series. the author is libba bray. the books are (in order): a great and terrible beauty, rebel angels, and the sweet far things

theyre pretty good once you get past the sort of cheesy magical theme (which i actually love)
