why do i get trip anxiety? i mean for christ's sake i've donw the drive to carolina, or up to NY over a dozen times now, and everytime i get anxious.. so i slept from abt 11:45-2:30.. was wide awake.. tried reading.. didnt work.. tried forcing myself to sleep on my back... didnt work.. listened to the entire rent soundtrack which brought me to 5:02

Did you switch cell numbers or am I an idiot? The number I had for you the other weekend when I was down in poughkeepsie sounded like it belonged to a very large, very old, possibly black man.
I got your actual number from Jen but by then it was too late... how long are you in NY on your next visit? I move down to Brooklyn on August 16... will you come visit me, at least for a dinner, maybe with Jeff and Jackie, too?
