Counseling sessions are good if you have a therapist that you feel comfy with. It took me a bit to soften up to mine. Good luck to you.

I reackon just use your counselling up. I know it's hard for a bloke to talk to someone when they've spent their whole life avoiding it. I find therapists to be more helpful as they tend to understand my ocd and anxiety better and they are also more qualified. You can 5 sessions for a therapist for cheap under a mental health care plan from your doctor every year. I could actually use mine to be honest, I just haven't had to go to the doctor for a while. I've had an issue for quite a while that just lingers. I acknowledge it and I know I am doing fine. It's like a mental block basically. I just have to get on with my life.

I got these four sessions through my wife's work and I'll see how I go after using them up. I went to some counselling a long while back, maybe like 10 years ago and I found they gave me some useful advice and things to work on, but I haven't really got that from this one, though it's also a totally different situation.
